Caroline Gohlke is a writer/director and visual artist based in NYC where she is an MFA candidate at NYU Tisch Grad Film. Her narrative work depicts nonconformist protagonists interested in alternative culture. She was awarded the Black Family Film Prize for her short film RAPIDS that received a faculty commendation for best directing and was selected as a finalist in the First Run Film Festival King Awards. She is the recipient of the Spike Lee Film Production Fund in support of her upcoming short SOFT PAVEMENT and is in development on her debut feature film, IMAGINARY LINES.
